  • BABE Boutique Volunteer

    Opportunity Start Date - End Date: 5/15/2018 - 12/31/2018
         Frequency: As Often As Desired
         Location: Warsaw

    We are in need of volunteers to help us operate our BABE Boutique, an extension of Heartline Pregnancy Center. Families can use earned BABE coupons to redeem baby essential items in our store in the K21 Health Pavilion. This volunteer would be in charge of greeting the clients, helping them shop and special order items, sort through donated items and price them, sort and bundle diapers, and so much more!

    Our store hours are Monday-Wednesday 12pm-5pm, Thursday 9am-5pm, closed Fri-Sun. Volunteers would be able to work anytime during open hours. We ask that you commit to a minimum of 1 hour shifts. 

    Background check & TB test required (will be compensated). Must be 16 years old.

  • I Decide For Me Instructor

         Frequency: Daily for 1-2 Weeks

    Job Description

    Sexual Risk Avoidance Educator


    Qualifications:

    • Committed Christian demonstrating personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior  

    • Exhibit strong commitment to the pro-life position

    • Agreement with philosophy and policies of Heartline Pregnancy Center including Vision, Mission, Statement of Faith, and Policies and Principles

    • Relevant education or experience

    • Exhibit excellent skills in interpersonal communication, public speaking, writing

    • Ability to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish a working knowledge of all HPC abstinence education programs—both public and faith-based.  

    • Present I Decide for Me in High School classrooms as needed.

    • Collect and analyze feedback forms from I Decide for Me presentations.  

    • Perform routine office work for presentations as needed including making copies, preparing materials, etc. Training and support will be provided.

    • Stay current on sexual health issues and current events to be relevant and effective in teaching both students and parents.
